Introduction

In this teaching, Guru Jagat shares wisdom and practices from her first book, Invincible Living: The Power of Yoga, The Energy of Breath, and Other Tools for a Radiant Life. Guru Jagat’s transcendent yet practical advice is derived from her personal experiences and the teachings of her mentor, Yogi Bhajan. Guru Jagat is one of the youngest senior kundalini yoga teachers in the world and is the founder of the RA MA Institute for Applied Yogic Science and Technology.

Guiding Thoughts

Before listening to the modules in this teaching, please reflect on the following questions:

  • What are your motivations? Passions? Purpose in life? Have you ever given these questions serious thought before? If so, do you think you really know what makes you tick? Would you like to get to know yourself better?
  • Do you feel that it is within your power to change your perspective? If not why? If so, how does doing so benefit you in your daily life and relationships? Would you like to be able to “change the channel” in any given moment?
  • How much thought have you given to your breath? A lot? A little? None at all? The “breath of life” is extremely important. What do you think Guru Jagat means when she says we all must learn to “command the breath?”
