Whip-stitched and hand-sewn in the New Mexican high desert, this soft bag is made from locally sourced deerskin. The raw-edge flap closure keeps contents safely contained and a drape of hand-cut fringe lengthens the bag’s silhouette.
The round, braided, leather strap is long enough to carry this handcrafted bag on the shoulder or cross body. Hand-wrapped, leather cord detailing marks the base of the strap and a wide band sits at the shoulder for comfort and stability. Sessann Orne’s one-of-a-kind designs are shaped by the Wild West spirit. Bag is available in four rich tones: bone, black, tobacco and gold.
In 2009, designer Sessann Orne, founder of Three Arrows Leather, left a 13-year career as a brand manager and trend forecaster in Los Angeles and followed her heart to the high desert of New Mexico, where she lives off the grid in an earthship home and crafts leather accessories and items for the home. All of her designs are inspired by an Angeleno rock-n-roll vibe blended with her love of indigenous cultures and the untamed, southwest landscape. Handcrafted from locally sourced materials, each piece is hand-cut and hand-stitched, so no two are exactly alike.
