A slim beaded bracelet with a button closure and delicate brass tag
Sometimes we just want to put on a small, simple piece that makes a meaningful, statement. We love the way this slender, patterned band does just that, connecting us to the circle of women in Guatemala who make these pieces by hand.
For centuries, Mayan women have had a spiritual connection with the weaving artsópraying to the patron saint of weaving to help them master the work, and honoring the Moon, who is said to have instructed the first weaver. Made by a Guatemalan women’s collective, it incorporates a traditional Mayan pattern in a modern palette of tiny glass beads, woven into a sleek little band topped with a colorful cord. Wear it on its own, or in a group with other neutrals.
