A simple yet sophisticated handmade journal with lightly lined paper
This elegant journal is a nice break from our digital note taking. It is called “minimal” because it’s a simple style that draws our attention to the high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship. We love that it’s a perfect size to keep bedside, on our desks or to toss in a tote bag.
This book can help inspire the soulful practice of taking time to reflect and maybe even investigate ideas. Handmade in Germany, a grey cover is accented with rounded corners and a colored linen spine with a matching elastic cord, which keeps the book and its contents securely closed. The spine slightly extends past the cover, which is proof of this book’s functionality and durability. Between the covers are 288 lightly lined sheets of creamy paper. Measuring 8.5” x 6”, it’s available in four vibrant color combinations.
Bindewerk, makers of fine hand-bound journals, began in 1996 in Munich, Germany. Now set in the Bavarian countryside next to Lake Chiemsee, they continue to develop and design innovative and thoughtful paper products using high-quality materials with expert skills. Founders and makers Inga Zempel and Arne Katzbichler hold independence as a core value in both their design philosophy and business practice.
