A 55-sheet notepad with a grid design, available three colors and two sizes
Hundreds of tiny boxes make up a grid pattern, which makes scribbling down a note on one of these crisp sheets of paper just a bit more fun. We like to keep one close to jot down reminders or leave a quick note or drawing for a friend.
Letterpress is the use of blocks of moveable letters, symbols, and numbers, pressed onto paper. It dates back to the mid-15th century, when it was the go-to method of printing books, papers and documents. By the 19th century, speedier, more modern methods replaced letterpress, but it was still widely used into the 20th century and today, is mostly used by artists. The makers of this collection of jotters paid attention to detail. The gummed edge of the pad is color-coordinated, corresponding with the pattern on the 55 white pages. The design is printed by letterpress and the notepads are handmade. Available in orange, bronze or caramel colors.
Le Typographe, based in Brussels, uses traditional wood and metal printing type and age-proven methods to create modern note cards and notepads. Its letterpress studio, a hub of design and innovation, is filled with 800 drawers of lead letters with which to work, which ensures that each handmade product provides a visual treat to both the sender and receiver. From the printing to the packaging, their handmade collection of paper goods is both functional and beautiful.
