A kinetic brass sculpture with a modern design
With movement as part of its composition, we love how this mobile catches the light, playing with shape and shadow. The brass adds interest and sophistication to any place it graces. We think of it as jewelry for a favorite space.
Four brass rectangles of varying sizes hang in two tandem tiers just waiting for the air to shift so they can subtly move. As a kinetic sculpture, it’s captivating. This hand-cut and polished mobile has elegant proportions and is slightly whimsical. Brass, composed of copper and zinc, is said to have the healing powers to boost the immune system, cultivate courage, and attract health and wealth. Hang this wire-and-metal object where it can rotate and stir the energy in a space. Though the brass is sealed to prevent tarnishing and maintain its luster, it’s for indoor use only. It measures 7 ½” wide x 31” long.

Line and proportion are given the same amount of attention as the choice of materials, whether 14K gold-fill, sterling silver or brass. Each piece begins as raw metal and is cut and hammered, allowing the hand of the artist to be present.
