Guiding Thoughts

Before watching the modules in this teaching, please reflect on the following questions:

  • Thus far in modern history, the most successful model of leadership has been primarily male, aggressive, and based on domination over others. What other models of leadership can you think of? How might these models impact the world we live in?
  • You have both masculine and feminine energy within you. Which energy do you feel is dominant? Why do you think this is true for you? Do you believe you have control over your inner energies and how they manifest in your thoughts, actions, and behavior?
  • Shakti is the power of presence. This presence is a state of mindfulness in which you transcend your ego-self and self-interest. Have you had personal experiences with such presence? If not, would you like to? If so, what was it like? What outcomes did it manifest?
  • You are destined to go through a “hero’s journey” in which you venture out into the world, face conflict, and ultimately triumph over adversity. Have you experienced a hero’s journey in your life? What was the experience like? What did you learn from it?

As you watch the modules in this teaching, actively take notes of any ideas or questions that come to you. You may watch the modules as many times as you like
