Clear quartz is known as a master healer because it catches the light and displays the full spectrum of color. Because of this, many prehistoric cultures believed the sun’s energy was harnessed in clear quartz and therefore deemed it a symbol of light. The word crystal comes from the Greek word krystallos meaning ice since the ancient Greeks believed it was permanently frozen water. To crystal healers and practitioners, it’s believed to help connect with the oneness within ourselves, which in turn helps us unlock our unlimited potential. It’s also said to protect against external negativity and help attune to the higher self. Carrying or meditating with this stone is believed to help open the heart and mind.
