Description

Franz Metcalf, a Buddhist scholar with a doctorate in religion from the University of Chicago, visited Bodhi Tree in 2001 to introduce his book What Would Buddha Do? 101 Answers to Life’s Daily Dilemmas, which explores how the ancient words of the Buddha can address those nagging modern questions about our jobs, relationships, daily dilemmas and, ultimately, life and death. In this talk, he explains how so much of what is found in the sacred texts offers contemporary explanations of how to apply these teaching to our lives.
