Some of the themes explored include the relationship between the esoteric and exoteric aspects of Islam and the role of Shi’i Imams in fostering the spiritual realization of the sincere wayfarer. The volume is edited, with an introduction from Sayyid Husayn Husayni Tihrani and translated by Mohammad H. Faghfoory. Annotation (c) Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
