Embroidery remains a significant craft in many Vietnamese villages and this wallet is an example of this tradition. Meticulous pattern, stitched in rich tones, is sewn from the reverse side of the cotton. The craft of hand-embellished ancient design is passed down to younger generations by Ly Ta May, an expert embroiderer and community leader. The sale of this item helps maintain sustainability by providing income while preserving cultural traditions.
