A modern artifact of a necklace
This gold pendant is embossed with circles, the ancient symbol of infinity, unity and focus. Understated in refined 24-karat gold over sterling silver, this talisman is inspired by exotic travel and native cultures.
All Riversong jewelry is designed to evince the natural and spiritual worlds. A tab of gold on finely braided nylon sits at the base of the neck, reflecting light and attracting it at the same time. Gold, said to attract wealth, happiness and virtue, is inscribed with five circular shapes suggesting the moon, sun and stars. The timelessness of the pendant is made modern with the deep flaxen cord. There’s a single gold bead asymmetrically strung, and a shell flower button closure at the back of the necklace. The cord is strong enough to be worn daily. This 16-inch long necklace is handmade in Riversong’s Seattle workshop.
With a past rooted in organic farming, it’s no surprise that Riversong jewelry owner and designer, River Burke, is inspired by organic forms and a reverence for the earth. Supporting fair trade business practices, stones are ethically sourced worldwide and cut by a generations-long family of stonecutters in India. Based in Seattle, Washington, Riversong jewelry reaches far and wide in its artistry and innovation.
