Story

This synthetic-free, 100% beeswax candle naturally purifies air by producing negative ions, which reduce dust and allergens. Beeswax candles also burn longer than paraffin candles and have a long shelf life, so they won’t crack or distort over time. Honey Candles is dedicated to quality products, sustainable production methods, socially conscious business practices, and a pure love for the natural world. Available in four sizes: small pillar, measuring 3″ x 3″ with a 40-hour burn time; medium pillar, measuring 5″ x 3″ with a 60-hour burn time; large pillar, measuring 7″ x 3″ with a 90-hour burn time; and a pair of tapers, measuring 12″ tall with a burn time of 12 hours.

About the Maker

Since 1994, husband-and-wife team Roy and Leah Honkanen have been making hand-dipped and hand-poured beeswax candles using the finest, locally sourced materials in their British Columbia shop. Their bee-friendly philosophy, inspired by the beauty of the natural world, informs their sustainable business model and products, which, in turn, supports the beekeeping industry.
