Your Weekly Astrology Forecast for April 22–28, 2019

The week ahead could be a game changer. The work week begins on Monday with a thunderous Sun-Uranus conjunction. This may jolt us into a new reality. Mars went out of bounds on Saturday, April 20 (astronomically meaning that its declination is greater than 23:27 degrees). When a planet is OOB, it tends to correspond with more unpredictable, exaggerated behavior.

As Mars is in Gemini, the zodiacal sign associated with communication, speech may be more volatile, erratic and unpredictable. Check your own actions and reactions and think about what you will say before you open your mouth. Pluto and Saturn both station retrograde for five-month backward spins. It may be time to end what no longer serves you and transform an area of your life.

Prepare for Awakenings and the Unexpected at the Start of the Week

This week could be game changing, as it starts with the big bang of a Sun-Uranus conjunction on Monday, which often bring reversals, surprises and awakenings. The Sagittarius Moon is positive, adventurous and philosophical. Writing may ignite discoveries. Make the most of this day and be open to astonishing developments that may unfold.

An expansive early Tuesday morning Moon-Jupiter conjunction marks the beginning of a long Moon void of course period from 4:43 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. PDT. Stick to insignificant routine tasks until late afternoon. The Moon moves into taciturn Capricorn at 3:50 p.m. PDT, and forms benefic trine aspects with Uranus and the Sun, perhaps corresponding with unexpected events. Mars makes a benefic trine with Pallas Athena, a strident, creative combination. The evening hours could be full of astonishing discoveries.

Pluto stations retrograde on Wednesday for a five-month backward spin. When a planet stations, its symbolic energy is amplified. Endings, beginnings and transformation may be more compelling and obvious.

The End of the Week is for Hard Work and New Pathways

With the Moon, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, and with Pluto stationing, Thursday demands serious attention and a lot of hard work. It may be time to let go of something that no longer serves you. Consider what is presented and how you think about it on this taciturn, demanding day.

The load lightens on Friday with the Moon in friendly, fixed air Aquarius. We want to be independent and free to try some new things. Break out of your usual habitual ruts and carve a new pathway. Plan dinner with friends, old or new or both.

End Your Week with Gentle Exercise and Well-Earned Relaxation

Saturday morning calls us to gentle exercise, such as yoga or a walk near water (Mars square Neptune). The Moon makes benefic aspects to Mercury and Mars. This would be a good day to tackle a writing project or almost any project that calls for creative expression.

Sunday is made for relaxation, or even laziness, so surrender to it. The Moon is void of course for a long period from 2:44 a.m. through 3:11 p.m. when it moves into dreamy Pisces. The Moon makes benefic sextiles to Jupiter and Uranus on each end of the day, generally framing the day as fun and easy.
