Your Weekly Astrology Forecast for March 4–10, 2019

With the Sun in Pisces, we attune to its symbolism: beauty, inspiration, spirituality, creativity and compassion. Uplift your life with an elegant dinner at a restaurant on the water, playing music or attending a poetry reading. Mercury turns retrograde on March 5, so tie up loose ends and make travel plans before Tuesday.

Start with Optimism before Mercury in Retrograde

On Monday, Jupiter aligns with the Moon in a benefic sextile, blessing us. Our work week will be off to an optimistic start.

Mercury turns retrograde for a three-week backwards spin on Tuesday at the last degree of Pisces, the last of the zodiacal cycle. It is time to review, re-imagine and re-vision. The Moon is dark, signaling a time to turn inward to prepare for the next lunar cycle.

Turn Vision into Action Mid-Week

Wednesday holds a symphony of planetary energy. The most major shift is Uranus into Taurus for a seven-year stay in the fixed earth sign. Uranus is a game changer, ready to plow the soil for the seeding of new resources, values and plans. The New Moon in Pisces is conjunct Neptune, oozing with intuition, inspiration and vision. This New Moon/Neptune conjunction makes benefic sextiles to Mars, Pluto and Saturn, meaning that vision and inspiration can be turned into action and realization.

Our dream state may linger through Thursday morning, and then after a brief mid-day void Moon (11:08 a.m.-12:27 p.m. PST), the Moon bounces into Aries and begins a new cycle. With the Moon in Aries, it’s time to get started on some things awaiting attention.

Friday is a satisfying end to the work week. The morning is sweet, and we may want to celebrate by buying coffee for our co-workers or allowing ourselves to indulge in a pastry. This would be a good morning to do a random act of kindness. A Sun-Saturn sextile leads us to accomplish a lot of work with ease.

Mercury in Retrograde Means a Home-Focused Weekend

Saturday morning may deliver a rough ride with the Moon in a challenging square to Saturn and Pluto, though the challenges are mitigated by a Moon-Jupiter trine which gives trust and optimism. The Moon is void of course for a long period of time from 9:14 a.m. through 11:10 p.m. PST. In addition, Mercury is retrograde. This is not a day for shopping or anything requiring decisions and connection. Focus on routine tasks or cleaning up your winter garden.

Sunday is colored by an exalted Taurus Moon. All things sensual are highlighted—things that please the ears, eyes, taste buds and touch. A benefic Mars-Neptune sextile, exact on Sunday, encourages philanthropy. Spring your clocks forward one hour to shift into Daylight Savings Time. Do a charitable act, giving gifts of time, talent or money.
