Spring has arrived—now the Sun shines in Aries, where it is exalted, or highest functioning. The Aries zodiacal month ahead encourages new beginnings. It is the season for spring cleaning. The shift into solar Aries brings passion, warmth, excitement zest for adventure and fresh starts.

Two major alignments infuse the week: Venus-sextile-Uranus and Mercury-conjunct-Neptune. Venus in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus. Sextile aspects are opportunities; you have to make conscious use of them to reap their benefits. This Venus-Uranus sextile is a pleasant aspect. You can find new ways of expressing yourself creatively. Also, you may make some surprising, unusual or satisfying purchases.

The Mercury-Neptune conjunction is a poetic, mystical, idealistic combination. With this Mercury-Neptune energy, you could write a song or a poem. You may want to plan a cruise or a trip over water. Be prepared to capture your dreams.

Start Your Week with Expansive Exploration

The Moon is in optimistic Sagittarius on Monday, forming a benefic trine to Chiron and the Sun. This is a day for expanding our lives. Read a book that expands your worldview, explore ideas for future travel or learn something new and expansive. Pull some tarot cards, or consult the I Ching, and see what is being mirrored to you by those esoteric messages.

Tuesday is uplifting. The Moon conjuncts Jupiter, giving optimism and enthusiasm. Venus moves into Pisces through April 21. Venus is exalted, or at its best, in Pisces. Venus in Pisces is sweet, inspired, and radiates love and beauty. The only downside is that there are now no major planets in air signs. With the air element missing in action, it may be more difficult to think and communicate for a few days until Mars enters air sign Gemini on April 1.

Mid-Weeks Brings Energy for Productive Work

We are ready to concentrate on work on Wednesday and through the rest of the work week on Friday, as the Moon shines in the industrious sign of Capricorn. Venus makes an opportunistic sextile to Uranus, enabling us to reconfigure our investments of time, energy and money, and perhaps to discover a few good surprises.

Mercury stations direct on Thursday, shifting our communication issues and challenges. The Moon’s benefic aspects to Mercury and Neptune enlarge our vision and options.

Friday could be an eventful day. First and foremost, strong work is demanded, and the planetary gods Pluto and Mars align with the Capricorn Moon to help make it happen. The Moon is conjunct Pluto in the early morning hours. Mars-trine-Moon gives us energy to get a lot accomplished. The evening’s Moon-Uranus square may deliver some surprises. At 6:46 p.m. PDT the Moon shifts into friend-loving Aquarius, so join with friends Friday evening to celebrate the end of a productive work week.

This Weekend is Made for Free-Spirited Adventure

On Saturday, the Moon makes an opportunistic sextile to the Sun. The Sun in Aries is exalted and confident. The Moon in Aquarius is free-spirited and inventive. Do something new and adventurous.

Mars moves into Gemini tropically until May 16, where it activates our mental activity. This energy of Mars in Gemini for the next six weeks encourages us to write, communicate and think critically. If you have a writing project in mind, this would be an excellent time to get it moving.

Sunday is blessed by a benefic Moon-Jupiter sextile in the freedom signs of the Zodiac, Aquarius and Sagittarius. Sunday would be a great day to gather with good friends and community.
