Astrology Gemini Continues to Spark Your Curiosity This Week, Be Willing to Let Go Published on June 3, 2019 Article by Cathy Coleman for Bodhi Tree YOUR WEEKLY ASTROLOGY FORECAST FOR JUNE 3-9, 2019 The Sun continues to shine in Gemini, the mutable air sign that symbolizes curiosity, communication, and connection. This month, with the Sun and Mercury in Gemini, it is time to learn something new, to spark your curiosity, to take short trips to explore new things and to connect with siblings. On a more serious note, Saturn and Pluto are conjunct the South Node in Capricorn, and Mars is approaching the North Node in opposition, in especially tight aspect with this group June 13-20. This combination of malefic, often difficult planets with the nodes, is volatile, dynamic, and demanding. This highly charged bundle of planetary energy can bring death and destruction, as we have seen with the extreme storms and tornadoes recently. Go slowly and carefully, and attend to your commitments and responsibilities. Be willing to let go of old, dysfunctional ways of being. It may be time for an extreme makeover. Begin the week with new goals and compassion. A New Moon in Gemini on Monday signals a focus on reading, writing, speaking, and learning. Set some communication and learning goals for the month ahead. Browse at your local library or bookstore for summer reading and new ideas. Sign up for a community education course, and stretch yourself to learn something new. We tune into our feelings on Tuesday with the Moon and Mercury moving into compassionate Cancer. We are drawn to comfort. We could use the energy of the benefic Moon-Uranus sextile to re-arrange our home or to make contact with a relative who we have not seen or talked with in a while. Or we can shed new light on something we are feeling. Wednesday may be an emotionally challenging day, beginning with an impatient Moon-Mars conjunction in the morning. Pressure builds throughout the day as the Moon moves into an opposition to Saturn and Pluto in the evening. We may need to face our fears and responsibilities, and we may have to handle emotional upsets. We are aided by a forgiving Moon-Neptune trine, and a nurturing Chiron-Ceres trine, which will help us deal with the day’s rough spots. Stick to routines and a fun upbeat engagement toward the end of the week. Thursday the Moon is void of course from 7:10 a.m. through 12:16 p.m. It could be difficult to get going and energy may meander without direction. Set meetings for the afternoon, rather than the morning when it is better to stick to insignificant tasks. Something unexpected may throw your afternoon or evening off track. The work week ends sunny, bright, and brilliant. A benefic Mercury-Uranus showers us with new ideas. Communication is electric. The playful Leo Moon makes benefic aspects to the Sun and Jupiter. Gather with fun friends to enjoy an upbeat, engaging Friday evening. With the Moon in practical Virgo, the weekend is the perfect time to dive into a project. Do something fun with your children or grandchildren on Saturday morning and early afternoon while the Moon is in playful fire sign Leo. Midafternoon at 2:45 p.m. PDT the Moon moves into practical, let’s get-the-job done Virgo, starting the monthly period designed for cleaning and organizing. You could dive into one clean-up project late afternoon. With Venus’ move into affable Gemini, and the Moon-trine-Uranus, we’ll want to try a different restaurant or menu for dinner, or gather with some friends you don’t see often for new conversations. A mutable Grand Cross (Sun in Gemini, Moon in Virgo, Jupiter in Sagittarius, and Neptune in Pisces) pattern gives us many options, and perhaps too much flexibility. The Virgo Moon beckons us to the many details that need to be addressed. Stay grounded, keep moving, and marvel at how much you have accomplished at the end of the day, and the end of this weekend. Use the benefic Saturn-Moon trine Sunday evening to help you plan and get organized for the week ahead. The Week in Short Monday: New Moon in Gemini.
