YOUR WEEKLY ASTROLOGY FORECAST FOR June 10-16, 2019

Venus has just entered the sign of Gemini tropically. The Sun continues to shine in Gemini, the mutable air sign that symbolizes curiosity, communication, and connection. Learn something new, spark your curiosity, take short trips to explore new things, and connect with siblings. Much of this week the Moon is void of course: most of Monday and Wednesday, and Friday afternoon and evening. This is a week to plan your activities carefully if you want to make the most of each day. These times when the Moon is void are not good for meetings, interviews, or decisions, as there is no angular energy. Things do not come together. It is best to use these times for inconsequential tasks like cleaning, filing, gardening, or reading, Plan meetings and shopping for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday.

The week begins with lunar instability.

We are buoyed by a Sun-Jupiter opposition on Monday which helps us stretch into goals and far-reaching possibilities. Early morning the Virgo Moon is trine Pluto, giving us the self-discipline to get strong exercise, and the determination to get a lot accomplished the rest of the day. The Moon is void of course all day from 5:01 a.m. through 5:29 p.m. PDT, when the Moon moves into Libra and makes a benefic trine to Venus. Stick to routine tasks during the day and enjoy a beautiful dinner with your beloved in the evening.

Tuesday is an irritable day in many respects from morning until night. Now how can we respond to an irritating day when we know this in advance? First, get some vigorous exercise to work out your own tension and boost your good feelings.  A morning meditation would also help. Next, loosen up, and make sure your sense of humor button is turned up high. See what you can learn from disagreements, and if life takes you in a different direction or detour, be curious rather than irritated. Challenge yourself to handle this day well with grace and kindness.

Wednesday is yet another challenging day colored by difficult lunar squares to Saturn and Pluto. Mars and the North Node are conjunct, a fiery combination that reveals karmic issues. The Moon is void of course for most of the day and evening from 8:15 a.m. through 9:02 p.m. This is not a day for meetings or decisions. Rather, it is a day to plod through routine, inconsequential tasks and to keep things simple. There are some positive aspects to help offset the challenging energy (Moon-sextile-Jupiter and Moon-trine-Sun). We can make some strides.

End the week with productivity and responsibilities.

We are jolted by something jagged or surprising, or perhaps just an out-of-the-box idea on Thursday morning! A Mars-Neptune trine pushes us toward our vision and greatest strengths. The Moon is in mystical Scorpio. Dive deep, listen to your feelings and expect profound realizations and results.

Mars opposes Saturn on Friday, an aspect that symbolizes a stand-off—and calls on us to slow down and attend to duties, honor and accept delays, and temper our progress with careful attention to detail. Otherwise, the day is full of numerous benefic aspects, contributing to a positive, productive day. The Moon is void of course at 12:45 for the rest of the day. With the Moon in Scorpio, we want to take some space. Weekend socializing is best on Saturday night, while on Friday you would be satisfied to dive into a deep book or watch a thriller on your own.

The weekend brings optimism and creativity.

Thankfully, the Moon moves into optimistic, sunny Sagittarius early Saturday morning and for the rest of the weekend. We are uplifted and drawn to a glorious hike or outdoor adventure. It is also a good day to make summer travel plans. This buoyant energy calls for a joyous evening social gathering.

Father’s Day Sunday is another optimistic Sag Moon day infused with aspects/activity. Mercury-trine-Neptune gives vision and fuels the imagination. Write poetry or write about your dreams. Mercury-opposite-Saturn calls for discernment. Jupiter-square-Neptune challenges us to be creative, and to see the big picture in the small challenges. The Moon is bright, culminating in a Full Moon early Monday morning.
