Astrology Play and Enjoy with the Sun in Leo and Game Changing Possibilities Published on August 5, 2019 Article by Cathy Coleman for Bodhi Tree YOUR WEEKLY ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST FOR AUGUST 5- 11 Leo is about playing in the Sun and enjoying the summer vacation! This week, Venus, the Sun, Mars, and Juno remain in Leo, the fixed fire Sun-ruled sign, calling us to express our creative passions and enthusiasm. Friday August 9 is an auspicious day, when the Moon in Sagittarius conjuncts Jupiter and makes benefic trines to the stellium in Leo. We are fired up with the possibilities! Jupiter stations and turns direct in motion, and Uranus stations and turns retrograde, both on August 11. This day is a game changer. Start the week action-oriented Monday is the most turbulent, edgy day of this week, as the Moon aligns with Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node by square aspect. At the same time, there are many beautiful, beneficial aspects of the Libra Moon to the Sun, Mars, and Jupiter. With the luminaries in action-oriented cardinal signs and both beneficial and challenging aspects, this is a day for action and hard work. Look back at the end of the day and marvel at how much has moved and how much you have accomplished. Slow down and go with the flow mid- week Feelings run deep on Tuesday, Wednesday and through mid-day Thursday, with the Moon in Scorpio. We may need to pull back and take more quiet time for ourselves. Tuesday is likely to hold some surprises, as the Moon opposes Uranus. Honor your feelings and go with the flow. Wednesday is a moody day with mixed aspects, both benefic and challenging. On the positive side, the Sun makes a benefic trine to Jupiter, rendering our world sunny and bright, and the Moon aligns easily with Neptune and Saturn, helping us manifest visions. In contrast, we are challenged by lunar squares to Venus and the Sun, making us a little insecure, edgy, and irritable. A glorious Venus-Jupiter trine encourages generosity on Thursday. The Moon is void of course until 1:35 p.m., when it bounces into the sunny sign of Sagittarius. Make this day count, and expect some good luck. Learn something new. End the week with a new project, high energy and possibilities Friday, the day associated with Venus, is glorious and uplifting. Already buoyed by a sunny Sagittarius Moon, the day is further brightened by a Moon/Jupiter conjunction and lunar trines to the Sun and Venus. This is an auspicious day for launching any new project, with 3:00 4:00 p.m. PDT being particularly powerful for doing something specific to take advantage of this expansive energy. A Neptune-Moon square late evening invites us to sleep and dream. Get your weekend shopping done on Saturday morning before 12:50 p.m. PDT, when the Moon goes void of course for the rest of the day. Saturday afternoon beckons for a hike or bike ride, and the evening calls us to socialize with friends. Saturday is a high energy day, so make the most of it. There’s a lot of changing direction on Sunday. Jupiter is stationary, turning direct after a 4-month backspin. Uranus is stationary-turning-retrograde for the next five months until January 11th. When planets are stationary, their energy is amplified. Jupiter symbolizes expansion and the search for knowledge. Uranus shakes things up and brings change. Mercury moves into creative Leo tropically. Sunday is a big day for expansive, game-changing possibilities. The Week in Short Monday: Call to action—give this day your best and lean in to challenges.
