Astrology An Edgy Start and End to and Otherwise Peaceful Week Published on October 7, 2019 Article by Cathy Coleman for Bodhi Tree Your weekly astrological forecast for October 7-13 The Sun shines in Libra, the sign symbolizing relationship, balance, fairness, and beauty. We want to participate in social affairs, especially at this time. This week is much calmer than last week, though the coming weekend is dynamic, as the Moon reaches its fullness and forms a Cardinal (action-oriented) Grand Cross. We are pushed out of our comfort zone, but we are able to manage with steady, hard work, and thinking things through methodically and wisely. an edgy start to the week Monday is edgy and challenging. The Sun squares Saturn; the Moon is in two dynamic squares to Uranus and Mercury. The energy is uncomfortable, but square energy pushes us, and make things happen. Embrace this day with its friction, and see what you can learn from others. Venus moves into Scorpio on Tuesday where it will stay until November 1st. In this placement we want to tend to finances and investments, and consider how we can garner more wealth. Venus in Scorpio is passionate, and can fuel feelings of jealousy as well as desire. The Moon makes benefic aspects to the Sun and Jupiter, making for a pleasant, optimistic day. At 11:27 a.m. PDT the Moon goes void of course; in the morning hold meetings and attend to things requiring decisions and definition. Tend to more routine tasks in the afternoon. the pisces moon lifts us to connect with the divine Wednesday is Yom Kippur, the high holy day of the Jewish tradition, a day of repentance. Yom Kippur is considered the day that seals one’s fate for the coming year. The Pisces Moon is perfectly poised on Wednesday to lift us toward a connection with the divine. We are compassionate and forgiving. With the Pisces Moon in benefic aspects to Venus and Uranus, we see the big picture and extend our love and blessings. This is a day for reflection, atonement, and for setting intentions for the year ahead. Also, we can expect a pleasant surprise. Planetary alignments on Thursday give a balance of vision and resolve to get things accomplished. The Pisces Moon lights up the opportune Saturn-Neptune sextile. We are able to imagine our future, and make progress toward our goals. The Moon is void of course all day Friday in Pisces, making for an unfocused day. This is a good day for reading, gardening, or painting a picture; it is not a good day for meetings or decisions. Finish projects. Relax and take time out to watch a movie. a weekend of feisty, dynamic energy In contrast to the peace, compassion, and sweetness of the past few days, Saturday and Sunday are charged with feisty, edgy, dynamic energy. These are days to let off steam by working hard. We feel impatient and assertive; put this energy toward getting things done, rather than taking it out on those around you who do not move as quickly as you would like. A tight T-square is formed by Sunday’s Full Moon that squares the Saturn-Pluto conjunction. The North and South Nodes in Capricorn and Cancer create a loose cardinal Grand Cross. This grouping of planets can contribute to feelings of fear or dread about moving forward with goals and plans. The Full Moon’s benefic aspects to Jupiter lighten the load, tempering and uplifting the challenging energies. A Saturn-Mercury sextile is also helpful, as this aspect may help us accept ideas previously rejected, and figure out ways to resolve problems methodically. The Week in Short Monday: Edgy day to lean in and make a difference. Tuesday: Pleasant, optimistic day. Wednesday: Yom Kippur, the Jewish high holy day of atonement.
